HSBC has appointed Runa Baksi as its head of Southeast Asia for global trade solutions ( GTS ), with responsibility for overseeing GTS business across Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
She will report to Wong Kee Joo, HSBC Singapore’s CEO, on an entity basis and to Aditya Gahlaut, the bank’s regional head of GTS for Asia, at a functional level.
Baksi was most recently managing director and country head of GTS for HSBC India. Prior to joining HSBC, she has held senior leadership roles in trade and transaction banking at DBS, Receivables Exchange of India and Deutsche Bank.
