Nasdaq-listed AMC Robotics Corporation has launched its Vietnamese operations through the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City in a strategic expansion that includes a new regional operations hub to scale production of the Kyro artificial intelligence ( AI )-powered quadruped robotic dog and marks the first step towards the potential establishment of a research and development ( R&D ) centre in Vietnam.
The US firm’s latest facility, AMCV Company, is located right in Ho Chi Minh City’s centre, near Ben Thanh Market, and has started operations with a local tax code registered at the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department. The company aims to leverage Vietnam’s technology ecosystem to support its global manufacturing and engineering roadmap.
This subsidiary represents a shift in the production lifecycle of the Kyro platform. The unit will function as a specialized centre for robotics manufacturing execution, handling tasks like mechanical and electronic assembly, systems integration and quality control.
The move, AMC Robotics notes, allows it to benefit from Vietnam’s tariff stability and supply chain for electronics and precision components, shortening lead times for global industrial and public-sector clients.
Beyond manufacturing goals, the inclusion of future R&D initiatives highlights, the company says, its commitment to the region. The envisioned centre will focus on robotics software and hardware innovation, integrating local engineering talent into the company’s global network.
This vertical integration of hardware production and software development, the company explains, is designed to ensure quality and scalability as demand for autonomous patrol and incident response solutions continues to rise worldwide.
AMC Robotics plans to collaborate with qualified local suppliers to manage workflows from component sourcing to the final validation of autonomous units.
As the Kyro manufacturing operations progress, the company expects to provide further updates on its capacity planning and the evolution of its technical presence in Southeast Asia.
The company’s flagship solution, Kyro, is an autonomous quadruped robot engineered for patrol and incident response in complex industrial and warehouse environments.
“This expansion,” the company states, “underscores Vietnam’s reputation as a destination for technology companies seeking to diversify global manufacturing footprints.”
