Bank of Singapore appointed Collins Chin ( 陈异凯 ) as global chief financial officer ( 环球首席财务官 ) with immediate effect. He will be a member of the bank’s global management committee, reporting to chief executive officer Jason Moo ( 巫 毅盛 ).
Prior to this appointment, Chin was head of investor relations at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited ( OCBC ). Bank of Singapore is a wholly owned subsidiary of OCBC.
Chin joined OCBC in July 2009 as the head of group financial and management reporting. He assumed the position of head of investor relations in May 2013. In this role, he spearheaded engagement with the investment community, drove effective messaging of OCBC’s strategy and priorities, and led investor engagement for OCBC’s capital raising and merger and acquisition initiatives.
Prior to joining OCBC, Chin held regional leadership roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered Bank, and Barclays Capital across the finance, capital markets, and risk functions.
Chin holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a chartered accountant of Australia and New Zealand.
